Lea Haben Woodford was a lifestyle correspondent until her daughter confronted her about helping perpetuate the Cinderella Myth for women. She started to put something together until her husband was severely injured and then she went through a life-changing disfiguration. From this, she has created SmartFem - a network all about helping women being empowered not only through beauty but also through industry.
